The Kids Club of Jefferson County provides an after school program for kids, from 3 pm to 6 pm, and also provides a summer program. 

The Jefferson county Youth Organization Inc., was formed in the fall to establish The Kids Club. The club replaced the Central Oregon Boys and Girls Club, Madras Branch in January.

Yearly-projected operating expenses will range from $160,000 - $200,000. A Bean Foundation commitment of $60,000 per year for the next five years was announced in December.
